Adidas Impact
Normally for a shoe description we would tell you about the original shoe that inspired the design of the current shoe. However, we can’t really take that route this time since there has never been a shoe quite like the Adidas Flying Impact, ever! We’re not too sure where Adidas grabbed their inspiration for these kicks from, but this innovative shoe has continued to impress again and again; from its completely brand new upper, to its extremely advanced soles, and stylish looks.
Adidas completely blew this design out of the water with its brand new upper. The decorated toe is actually made of synthetic leather that adds a greater feeling of quality and provides added style points to the entire shoe. The leather on the toe is extremely impressive and has that “buttery” feel that an authentic leather shoe would be known for. The rest of the upper consists of a well-made and very durable mesh with TPU overlays. The TPU overlays allow for very unique colorways while still keeping the upper very flexible and supportive - making the Flying Impact truly one of the most unique shoes available. The Flying Impact is also one of the taller wrestling shoes on the market that provides high levels of ankle support while maintaining comfort and flexibility. It features a standard lace pocket at the top of the shoe allowing the wearer to stash the laces in the pocket comfortably without the hassle of Velcro or straps. The V shaped heel foil allows for strong heel support and the wedge midsole keeps you on your toes giving you the feeling of soaring in the clouds while your feet are on the ground.
The sole of the Flying Impact is one of the most advanced soles we have ever seen. Adidas has developed some of the most effective soles that allow for maximum traction while not sacrificing weight or flexibility. There’s a reason Adidas uses these soles on almost all of their best-selling shoes! The bottoms are a unisole featuring wrestling specific drive zones and radial curves that help the shoe grip the contour of the mat.
To close out on the Adidas Flying Impact, there are many things to consider when purchasing your next pair of wrestling shoes. Things you may want to consider are comfort, uniqueness, style, flexibility, grip, support, and flying capabilities. Okay, maybe the last one is not the most sought-after quality, but the Adidas Flying Impact brings all of that to the table, and more. So, before things get rocky, make sure you and your opponent brace for the Flying Impact.
